Inspired by the life and work of South African singer, activist and exile Miriam Makeba, KVS maker Alesandra Seutin created a powerful performance about migration, exile and human rights. Through text, song, dance and music – and with a starring role for jazz singer Tutu Puoane – she takes you to the hidden corners of a deconstructed shebeen*.
